Our updates follow a clear structure: Highlights, Lowlights, Numbers, and Ask. The goal is to give you a transparent, unfiltered view of how we’re building Clevrr AI - what’s working, what’s not, and the metrics that truly matter as we scale.

Ironically, the reason for the silence is the same reason this newsletter is packed. Here's everything that happened.

Highlights

🧠 We Beat Claude. 17 Times.

This was fun. One prospective customer evaluated us against Claude using exactly the same datasets and exactly the same business questions. Across 20 different evaluations, Clevrr outperformed Claude 17 times. The biggest differences came from:

  • Better business context awareness

  • Stronger root cause diagnosis

  • More actionable recommendations

The result? We won the annual contract. It reinforced something we've believed from Day One: General-purpose AI is incredibly powerful. Purpose-built AI wins when context matters.

🚀 Campus Fund FutureX and Google Immersion Program

One of the biggest highlights over the last two months was getting selected among the Top 10 startups in India for Campus Fund's FutureX Program, chosen from 500+ applicants, and were also selected into the Google Immersion Program, run jointly by Google and Antler, as part of its inaugural cohort.

As part of the program, we showcased Clevrr AI at Google's Bangalore office, presenting what we've been building to founders, operators and investors.

Being surrounded by founders building ambitious AI companies has been incredibly valuable. We've gained technical feedback, GTM perspectives and product insights that are already influencing what we're shipping.

🏬 The long awaited Shopify Approval

After months of waiting, Clevrr AI is now officially approved on the Shopify App Store. This has been one of the biggest unlocks for our PLG motion. Brands can now discover and install Clevrr far more easily, dramatically reducing friction in onboarding.

We’ve now shrunk our onboarding time from almost 24 hours earlier to just 4 minutes now. We’ve already onboarded 3 brands using this flow and it is going to get better only.

🔧 Clevrr Build - Internal Hackathon

We dedicated an entire day to something we've wanted to do for a while. Instead of shipping product features, everyone shipped tools for themselves. The only rule:

Build something that eliminates at least one recurring task from your daily workflow.

Some of the internal built tools included:

  • An internal GitHub for AI prompts

  • Offline voice-powered meeting recorder and action-item generator

  • Intelligent Sales CRM for proactive sales nudges and follow ups.

Ishan won the Hackathon - he built Prompt Studio: GitHub for Prompts.

It was one of the most energizing days we've had as a team and reinforced something we strongly believe. We should be our own first AI users.

🤝 Building an AI-Native Performance Marketing Community

Over the last two months we've quietly built a community of 120+ performance marketers actively experimenting with AI.

The group includes operators and performance marketers from companies like Plixlife, Livpure, Manifest, SuperYou, Bombay Shaving Company and many other fast-growing D2C brands.

Beyond community, this has become one of our strongest product feedback loops.New features get validated within hours instead of weeks.

Lowlights

📉 Our Biggest Churn Yet

We churned three customers over the last two months. The largest churn we've experienced since generating revenue. After multiple conversations, one thing became clear:

The issue wasn't that the product couldn't deliver value. The issue was that we weren't strict enough about who the product was actually for. This has resulted in much sharper positioning and a far stricter qualification process.

Sometimes churn is expensive tuition. But nonetheless - we’ve identified a clear pattern and some important tasks to tick this month upfront and you can expect a lot of interesting things this month onwards!

🚧 OAuth Delays Continue

While Shopify approval is finally behind us, Meta and Google OAuth approvals continue to delay our PLG rollout. The product is ready. The infrastructure is ready. The approvals are not.

It's frustrating, but we're continuing to onboard customers through white-glove implementation while the reviews progress.

Numbers

Here are the key metrics we’ll track consistently going forward:

  • Brands in Pipeline: 214 (+21%)

  • Active Brands Using Clevrr: 38 (+17%)

  • Revenue Managed: ₹690+ Cr (+86%)

  • Ad Spend Managed: ₹310+ Cr (+138%)

Not a huge jump in numbers but we’re creating a pipeline that’s exploding on launch day. Stay tuned for that!

Ask

We're currently closing our $1M Pre-Seed round, with a lead investor almost finalised coming in with $600K and $50K through angel investors, with remaining allocations completing later this week and then we’ll stop accepting new commitments.

We're also actively partnering with VC firms that invest in consumer brands. Our goal is to make Clevrr AI available as a portfolio benefit, giving founders preferred pricing, priority onboarding, early access to product features, and dedicated support
