Two things happened in 2024, and they happened at the same time. The platforms changed their playbooks with targeting becoming consolidated, campaign structures simplified, control moved from the buyer to the system. And the frontier models collapsed the cost of producing a creative asset, so advertisers started generating at a volume no ad platform had ever been built for. Thousands of assets where there used to be ten. For Meta that was a real problem, not a theoretical one: a flood of machine-made creative risks scrambling the very signal its ranking models depend on.
So Meta rebuilt the front of the pipe - a retrieval engine, orders of magnitude more complex than what it replaced, that decides which of tens of millions of eligible ads even reach the auction. It did bring meritocracy to creative. It stopped mattering as much who you targeted. It started mattering which asset deserved the impression, for that specific person, across whichever media type they happened to be in. Weak creative now dies at retrieval and never reaches the auction at all.
But that made Meta and Google Ads -
Great at delivery. Poor at explainability.
The machine got extraordinarily good at deciding, and extraordinarily bad at telling you why.
Open any media buyer forum on a weekday and the most common post is some version of: was Meta good or bad for everyone today? Not a question about an account. A question about the weather.
Explainability is the ability to attribute an outcome to a cause with enough confidence to act on it. Without it you can't separate signal from noise, so you kill a good creative over one bad Tuesday and let a real decay run for three weeks. You stop learning, so every campaign starts from zero and five years of experience becomes one year lived five times.
And you pay for a reactive setup - ROAS drops on Tuesday, someone notices on Friday, the diagnosis lands the following Wednesday. The loss isn't the drop. It's the eight days of spend behind the wrong answer.
What we're building
We're building the most intelligent reasoning and execution layer for performance marketing teams. Clevrr AI integrates with Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and the rest of the stack, and turn their signals into workflows run by Klev, our agent acting before revenue leakage compounds, rather than reporting on it after it has. Klev detects the anomaly, runs the root cause, decides and executes. Under two minutes, on a problem that costs most teams three days. Not analytics. Not insights. Not a better window into someone else's black box.
Weโre trying to reimagine what advertising looks like in 2040 and the answer is not more data, and it is certainly not rule-based workflows, dashboards, MCPs. The answer is context: how fast a hook decays in your category, where the buyer sits in the consideration cycle, festive cycles, payday rhythms, the cricket calendar that moves CPMs in this country more than most annual plans account for, even weather,ย a heatwave and a rain forecast are demand signals for half the DTC categories, and almost nobody trades on them. Context, plus the right creative, delivered through the correct media type. The platforms have solved delivery. Nobody has solved the reasoning that decides what to hand them.
If you're a DTC founder, an e-commerce store owner or a performance marketer, come. Especially if you've ever posted in a forum asking whether Meta was good today.
Weโve built this for you!
